Case Study: Cass Screw Machine Products Website

The new design uses the hex-head Cass logo as its inspiration. Creative director Rick gave the logo a few subtle tweaks, then used the logo’s shape in the page design. He also chose new fonts to update the site visually while still hinting at Cass’ nearly 70-year history. “I wanted something that looked machined and refined; suggestive of the careful tooling they do,” says Rick. “The font is heavy, angular, solid—like many of the products they make.”
